1. Our commitment
Momentli is built for events where everyone should be able to share and find their photos, including guests and hosts with disabilities. We believe in equal access to digital services, and we work to make the website momentli.co.il and the application at app.momentli.co.il accessible and usable for everyone.
This statement is published by Ovis (“Momentli”, “we”). It is published in Hebrew and in English. In case of conflict, the Hebrew version prevails.
2. Legal framework and standard
We work to make the Service accessible in accordance with:
- The Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998.
- The Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
- Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA.
Beyond the legal requirement, we aim to meet WCAG 2.1 at level AA.
3. Accessibility measures we have taken
- Semantic structure: pages are built with semantic HTML, a logical heading hierarchy, landmarks and descriptive labels, to support screen readers.
- Keyboard navigation: the site can be navigated using the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Color contrast: text and interface elements are designed with sufficient contrast between foreground and background.
- Text alternatives: meaningful images and icons on our website have alternative text, and decorative images are marked so that screen readers skip them.
- Right-to-left support: full support for Hebrew and right-to-left layout, alongside the English version of the website.
- Reduced motion: animations are reduced or disabled for users who set a reduced-motion preference in their operating system.
- Responsive design: the site adapts to different screen sizes and to zooming up to 200% without loss of content.
- Accessibility menu: an accessibility widget lets you adjust the display, for example text size, contrast and highlighting of links.
- Forms: form fields have clear labels and error messages.
We test the site with a keyboard, with screen readers and with automated tools, and we continue to improve it.
4. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Service may not yet be fully accessible:
- Photos uploaded by guests do not have alternative text describing their content, since they are uploaded by users during the Event.
- Third-party content and services, such as Google sign-in, may not fully meet our accessibility standards, and are not under our control.
- The selfie step requires the use of the device’s camera. Guests who cannot use it can skip the step and still upload and browse photos.
- The guest and host application interface is currently available in Hebrew only.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier that is not listed here, please let us know.
5. Contact our accessibility coordinator
If you have difficulty using the Service, or have a question or suggestion regarding accessibility, please contact our accessibility coordinator:
